I’ll upload a screen of my current UI here.

How to make your UI look like mine!

Well actually this is quite easy, since what makes it look so nice are textures taken from Taeo’s UI (sorry I didn’t provide reference earlier, since the artwork is not mine!). I saw Taeo’s screenshot in that WoWInsider article and was instantly in love with it and have been ever since.

So the visible things in my UI are

  • eePanels2 with textures from Taeo (see link above) & eePanels Tutorial
  • minimap mod: Chinchilla (any minimap without any decoration will do)
  • unitframes: Pitpull (with attached textured eePanels)
  • to the right you can see my Autobar
  • chatframes: Chatter
  • a floating FuBar placed on the bottom of the main eePanel
  • button bars are done with Bartender4 (since the screen is my druid and she makes heavy use of macros and feral bar swaps she needs very very few buttons which is part of what makes the UI look so “clean”)
  • to the bottom left you see a near transparent MiniMenu (also Bartender4) and above that you see me Outfitter outfits
  • the NPC nameplate (and any other) looks prettier with Aloft
  • left of the characterframe you can see my buffs as little blue bars which is done with ElkBuffBars
  • below the buffs you can see my mini shapeshift bar (made smaller and nearly transparent with Bartender4)
  • the big shapeshiftbar next to the minimap (above the right chat window) is actually the Druid class bar from AutoBar (Autobar is great it saves you so many buttons)
  • if there are any DoTs, HoTs or Cooldowns running you can see those to the right of the target frame which I have done with DoTimer
  • the tiny world map to the right is a feature of the standard UI which is modified a bit by Mapster I believe (you could just as well use Cartographer)

I hope this information helps in recreating the UI for yourself. I run WoW in a window in a 24″ wide screen display. My old 19″ is set up to the right of this and used for Teamspeak, Surfing, WoWhead, Twitter and blogging.

Here’s one more image with some explanations:
