Things to remember about Druids

I noticed – and you may have, too – that with the last patch a few things changed for us Druids. I am not talking about the talent point refund in 3.0.3, I am talking about the changes in 3.0.2.  So for all those of you who are considering taking a Druid along on your next tour of [insert favorite nerfed instance] here are a few things to remember about us druids:

We’re

… all specced Boomkek now – it’s the FotM. No more trees to heal you and no more bears to tank for you. Nobody was taking cat druids for dps anyway, right?

… an AoE class: Hurricane is no longer on a cooldown and Swipe hits as many targets as there are in front of your bear (maybe there are a few tanks left after all)

… a CC class as well: we’re rooting inside instances, leave a few of those melee mobs for us when we’re not AoE-ing the group anyway

… pulling adds with Starfall

… re-programming our macros because we just respecced

… reviving you after the fight – and you over there as well!

… healing the group with Wild Growth (just in case there are some Restos out there as well)

However a few things stayed the same.

We still

… all look the same

… can’t conjure Cookies, make Portals and create Healthstones

… have the strongest laser beams available in the game, Pew Pew!

… Rebirth you in combat every once in a while

… buff you with the pink paw

… wear leather
