I fell of the track

Now I played 3.5 hours this past Saturday. One in the morning and the rest in the evening.

I think my log on before that was 6 weeks ago and the last time I did more than chat for 10 minutes and play some was more than 2 months ago. I simply had nothing to do, was bored by the game and didn’t have time.

Despite all that I knew I would be playing again and Saturday I did. I even made it from level 44 to two thirds towards level 46 with Lakshmi.

Unexpectedly playing was fun. I followed the Quest Helper through a bunch of quests, started a new area (Tanaris) which had loads of quests, didn’t read any quest texts (I’ve read them all) and chatted a lot. I only stayed logged on because I was able to chat to some friends who were also playing. It was that experience – the meeting people part – that kept me playing. The gameplay itself is a nice and simple distraction by now at least the way I prefer to play. The meeting people when I would have been home alone otherwise was the feature that made it a much better experience.

I logged in

and my interface is still working. Only I forgot my key-bindings.

I did a quest with Lakshmi – my level 44 Shaman. Luckily I have Quest Helper. Otherwise I would have been so lost in Feralas.
